Moharam celebration which comemorates the martyre of Emam Hussein and most of his family during the Kerballa battle in 688 AC. During this ceremony, the men hit themselves in the back with chains-whipes or with hands on the chest to show their sadness. Moharam is considerated as one of the most important feast for the Shiism branch of Islam.
